Our School

Skin Works training team is dedicated to provide the latest teaching materials, techniques, and products available in the esthetics field, through ongoing continuing education, seminars, and personal study. Skin Works main objective is to ensure that our students receive the highest standard of education, which will enable them to possess the knowledge and mastery of the techniques and skills needed to excel in the esthetics field.

Basic Esthetician Course

600 hours are required

Basic Training teaches the following:
Skin exfoliation techniques; concentrates, aromatherapy/essential oils, serums; European skin care techniques; limited chemical peeling; eyelash eyebrow coloring and perming; High-Frequency and Galvanic skin treatments; skin analysis; moisturizing; cleasing; face and body waxing; manual and machine techniques; moisturizing and cleansing masks; massage; extractions; acntreatments; make-up; manicures; pedicures and reflexology.

Training also includes specialty treatments:
Oxygen therapy masque; collagen masque; paraffin masque; vitamin therapy masque; spa manicures and pedicures; paraffin bath; specialty hand and foot treatments; and reflexology.

Course Length:
The Basic Esthetician Training program involves 600 hours of Esthetics training and education. This is a State of Utah regulation requirement.

Advanced Esthetician Course

600 hours are required

Curriculum Includes:

Body treatments: body wraps/ cellulite treatment, herbal linen wrap, body bronzing (tanning), manual lymphatic drainage, stone therapy treatments; pedicuring: advanced spa pedicures (chemical acids, credo blades), paraffin bath; specialty hand and foot treatments; spa body treatments: nourishing seaweed body treatment, salt glows; micro-dermabrasion. Professional exfoliation techniques: chemical acid peeling (AHA/BHA/JESSNER), advanced facial treatments: hot/cold stone facial.

Course Length:
The Master Esthetician Training program involves 600 hours of Esthetics training
and education. This is a State of Utah regulation requirement.
