Cosmetology
Students who have maintained satisfactory progress, successfully completed Mansfield Beauty Schools' Cosmetology program and all requirements, and have satisfied all financial obligations to the school, will graduate and receive Mansfield Beauty Schools' Cosmetology diploma and authorization to apply for the Massachusetts Board of Cosmetology license exam.

Manicure
Students who have maintained satisfactory progress, successfully completed Mansfield Beauty Schools' Manicure program and all requirements, and have satisfied all financial obligations to the school, will graduate and receive Mansfield Beauty Schools Cosmetology diploma and authorization to apply for the Massachusetts Board of Cosmetology license exam.

Licensing
The Massachusetts state regulations currently allow students upon graduation from school and applying for the licensing exam to work in a licensed salon.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts will issue an operator's license upon the passing of the examination to cosmetology graduates. Manicure graduates, upon passing the State Board examination will receive a manicure license.
Job Placement
Our primary objective is the placement of our graduates. Upon or before the completion of all graduation requirements a student will have a placement interview with the School Director, or a designee. The student will be assisted according to their needs as discussed in the interview process.
Requirements for Admission
Candidates will be admitted who have a certificate of graduation from a school providing secondary education or the equivalent of such certificate, for example a GED or verification from the State in which the secondary education has been recognized.
Candidates who are beyond the age of compulsory attendance, lack a high school diploma or its equivalent, should contact our office for additional information and or policy change(s).
