Cosmetology Course
The basic cosmetology program includes lecture, demonstration, classroom participation and examination on many subjects. Technical Instruction consists of demonstrations, lecture, classroom participation or examination. Practical Operation consists of actual performance by the student of a complete service on another person or mannequin.
Esthetician Course
The basic Cosmetician/Esthetician course consists of lecture, demonstration, classroom participation and examination. This is a very fast growing field. In an age of specialization, Estheticians have many opportunities after graduation. Some are: make-up artists for photographers or theater productions, work full or part time at a salon or day spa, work in para-medical office of Dermatologists or Plastic Surgeons just to name a few. Technical Instruction consists of demonstrations, lecture, classroom participation or examination. Practical Operation consists of actual performance by the student of a complete service on another person or mannequin.
Make Up Artist Training
The curriculum for students enrolled in a Make-Up Artist course course shall consist of one hundred (100) clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices of a Make-Up Artistry. For the purpose of this section, technical instruction shall mean instruction by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation or examination. Practical operation shall mean the actual performance by the student of a complete service on another person. Please note 100 hours will be devoted to clinic/theory experience which shall include all phases of being a Make-Up Artist.
