Our School

We are a specialty hair and make up school. We only offer one course, cosmetology, which allows us to focus our efforts on what excites you the most, hair and makeup.

Cosmetology

The curriculum for students enrolled in this program consists of practical training and technical instruction covering all practices of cosmetology, including a course in shop department consisting of training in courtesy and professional attitude in meeting the public.

The Programs length is 335 hours of technical classroom instruction in the science and practice of cosmetology, and 1265 hours of applied effort for the minimum number of practical operations.

State Law requires 1600 hours to be completed in order to apply for a Cosmetology license examination.

manicuring

For those wishing to practice manicuring only, we offer a 400 hour course. The curriculum includes a minimum of 110 hours of classroom instruction in the science and practice of manicuring and a minimum of 290 hours of practical training and technical instruction.

Esthetician

curriculum for students enrolled in a skin care course includes technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices of an esthetician. Technical instruction means instruction by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, or examination; practical operation is the actual performance by the student of a complete service on another person. California State Law requires a Minimum of 600 hours to be completed at a licensed beauty school to apply for an esthetician license.

Clinical sthetician

For those wishing to focus on achieving basic and advanced facial proficiency; the curriculum for students enrolled in this skin care course (45 Quarter Credit Hours, 45 weeks) includes technical instruction and practical operations covering all practices of an esthetician. Technical instruction means instruction by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, or examination; practical operation is the actual performance by the student of a complete service on another person. California State Law requires a Minimum of 600 hours to be completed at a licensed beauty school to apply for an esthetician license.  The curriculum goes beyond the basics to include practical and technical instruction covering use of advanced equipment, assessment techniques and product protocols for conditions such as acne, Rosacea, Hyperpigmentation and anti-aging. A student successfully completing the program is eligible to take the California licensing exam

Advanced Facial and Body Treatments

s curriculum is for students who are licensed Estheticians or have completed a State approved 600-hour basic esthetician program.  The program addresses the advancing needs of the growing skincare profession.  It is a 30 Quarter Credit Hour program (30 weeks). The curriculum goes beyond the basics to include practical and technical instruction covering advanced equipment techniques and product protocols for acne, Rosacea, Hyperpigmentation and anti-aging. Also, the Advanced Body Treatments curriculum includes the use of wraps, scrubs, masques and manual circulatory, lymphatic and superficial Myofascial techniques.  Case studies provide the learning opportunities to master client consultation, evaluation and developing a customized and balanced treatment plan with supporting maintenance. 

Massage Therapy

Students enrolling in our clinical massage therapy program will learn through a combination of theory lectures, demonstration and practical application in the most recognized massage techniques including Swedish massage, Advanced Circulatory Massage, Sports Massage, Facilitated Stretching, Special Needs and Acupressure.

Students also receive training in successful business practices, CPR/First Aid, ethics and pathologic contraindication. learning environment explores clinical and healing benefits of massage therapy. The program length is 36 weeks (36 Quarter Credit Hours). Currently there are no licensing requirements for the State ofCalifornia This program has the distinction of being reviewed and recognized by the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Master Spa Therapist

This curriculum is for students wanting the basic and advanced esthetics education. It is a 60 Quarter Credit Hour program (60 weeks) offering the full complement of fundamentals of esthetics in the basic program, qualifying students to apply for state licensure, and advanced facial and body treatments. The curriculum provides a complete education for the Professional Esthetician. Included are practical and technical instructions covering advanced equipment, assessment techniques and product protocols for acne, Rosacea, Hyper pigmentation and anti-aging. The Advanced Body Treatments portion of the curriculum includes the use of body wraps, scrubs, masques and manual circulatory, lymphatic and superficial Myofascial techniques. Case studies provide the learning opportunities to master client consultation, evaluation and developing a customized and balanced treatment plan with supporting maintenance.

Teacher Training

The curriculum for students enrolled in a teacher training course consists of 600 hours of technical instruction and practical operations in teaching the art of cosmetology. Technical instruction includes demonstration, lecture, classroom participation, or examination; practical operation is the actual participation and performance by the teacher trainee of teaching techniques and principles.
