With a State of the Art working spa students are given the opportunity to practice their skill with instructor supervision Our goal is to provide the most in-depth course of instruction to prepare and equip our students for a successful career in the Salon/Spa and Medical Spa Industry

Programs

Academy of Aesthetic Arts offers the following programs

  • Esthetics Full Time 750 Hours
  • Esthetics Part Time 750 Hours ( Evenings & Saturdays)
  • Nail Technology 500 Hours
  • Instructor Training 300 - 450 Hours
  • Missouri Certification for licensed Kansas Estheticians 100 hours
  • Addtional training hours up to 150 hours for out of state applicaints whe need to meet the Kansas and Missouri requirements

Esthetics

  • Sanitation 75 Hours
  • Sciences 200 Hours
  • Skin Treatments 235 Hours (Facial Techniques, Body-wraps, Hydor Therapy, Facial Peels, Microdermabrasion, Facial Equipment)
  • Makeup 100 hours
  • Hair Removal 30 hours
  • Business Practices 55 Hours
  • State Law 20 hours
  • Reflexology 35 hours

Nail Technology

  • Sanitation 60 hours
  • Artificial Nails 160 hours (Silk wraps, Acrylic, Sculpted, Tips, Gels, Nail Art)
  • Manicuring Skills 75 Hours (Natural Nails, Pedicures, Reflexology)
  • Sciences 50 hours
  • Business Practices 35 Hours
  • State Law 20 hours

Instructor Course

  • Professional Teacher 20 hours
  • Student Motivation & Learning 40 hours
  • Methods, Managment & Materials 150 Hours
  • Testing & Evaluation 60 Hours
  • Evaluation 30 Hours

Students must maintain a 75% overall GPA Students must maintain an average 90% attendance rate to complete program
